Tuberculosis (TB) is a major public health problem in Pakistan. Most of the TB cases could not be detected due to a lot of reasons every year. That’s why the mortality ratio due to TB is high in Pakistan. We conduct chest camps to screen people with chest symptoms in different urban slums of Punjab, a large province of Pakistan. Further we also established a free chest care clinic for TB patients. All the tests of TB and the medicines are provided free of cost to the patients. We have an innovative plan to detect TB cases as maximum as possible and some local donors are also ready to provide some funds for that. But the resources and funds are not enough to execute the plane in a large area of our country.
