Organization profile:
COMMUNITY AIDS CARE (CACA) is a non- Profit, Non-Government, Community Based Organization whose mission is to support people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS disease.
CACA was established way back in 23rd September 2003, CACA is fully registered with the National and District relevant local authorities. CACA’s registration certificate number is (MG/2003/23/00543)
CACA’s secretariat office are located/based in mityana District- Uganda, East Africa and we are operating in three (3) Districts namely: Mpigi District, Kiboga District and Mityana District respectively.
Our office are just opposite Mityana Town council offices, we always do our work in compliance with the National HIV/AIDS control policy. We do have a strategic plan 2010-2014.
CACA is involved in HIV/AIDS prevent, treatment, care and support services for PLWHA, HIV counsel and Testing (HCT) TB/HIV Co-Management and prevention activities for youth in and out of school.
CACA’s Main Objectives:
Contribute towards the reduction of HIV/AIDS transmission and improve standards of living for those who are affected and infected with HIV.
CACA’s Vision Statement:
A healthy, socially empowered and economically productive community free from HIV/AIDS and its effects.
Mission Statement:
Our Mission is to contribute towards the reduction of HIV/AIDS rate and mitigate its impact through care and support.
Why was this organization formed?
This organization was formed by a few volunteers who felt and believed that unity was the answer to our communities, So CACA was formed because there was a need for such an organization that could bring us together defen
