ZMQ is a Technology for Development Social Enterprise and has established a new approach of combating TB in the developing world. The approach uses fully technology linked model to establish Active Compliance by patients with Community led supportive mechanism.
We are a T4D organization and TB is an area where Technology can play a active role in Communication, Adherence and Universal management of disease.

presently, we are establishing Active Compliance System in mewat District of Haryana,in India, one of the least developed districts and having very low TB detection and compliance rates.This is being implemented woth State TB office of Haryana and is supported by USAID and Bill and Melinda gates Foundation.

Please tell us how your organization is contributing to your country's national TB control plan:
We are working closely with Haryana State TB office and is being supported by revised National TB program of India (RNTCP) in for of technical support. The present project is covering the full district of Mewat in Haryana with a population of around a million.we are covering over 1700 patients and our volunteers are establishing door to door TB awareness campaign using mobile interactive.
In another Program in Delhi we are covering over 3000 schools for running StopTB Carnival to create awareness and understanding about TB and its myths.

TB Care Delivery:
Establishing new Approach called Active TB Compliance System which is a bottom up approach of management of TB. The DOTS also being one component of the system.

Laboratory Strengthening:
Building Connected Laboratory System using Mobile Connectivity.

Research:
Building fully technology led Model for Management of TB using a Free and Open Source Platform called Open Universal Technology Linked TB Management System (OUT-TB Platform)with mobile and compliance tools for patients and community led supervision.
