Organization Description:
Mission. Contributing to achieving the highest quality of level life and health of MSM and other vulnerable groups.

Basic directions of work:
- Reducing the level infection on HIV, STIs, viral hepatitis and TB among MSM (prevention among MSM);
- Mobilization the community for defending of rights and interests of different groups of MSM;
- Advocacy for access to health and social services to vulnerable groups (IDU/OST, sex workers, MSM, former prisoners) at the local level.

Since 2015 our organization began to be engaged the primary screening of TB among of its clients - MSM, so to us will be very important to deal with issues increasing of access to quality TB diagnostic and treatment among MSM (including MSM / PLWHA). Also, we will be interested to engage in advocacy of access to diagnosis and treatment of TB among various vulnerable groups at the local level (in various regions of Ukraine).

NGO "Gay-alliance" is working by common consolidated programs on HIV and tuberculosis in 2015-2017 in Ukraine, supported by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

Contribution

Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below:

TB Care Delivery:
Informing customers of safety infection TB, primary TB screening (questionnaire), redirection to primary care health care facilities for diagnosis (sputum, etc.), if confirmed of diagnosis redirection to treatment in TB clinics (since the beginning of 2015).
Also, "Gay Alliance" plans to engage in advocacy of access to diagnosis and treatment of TB among different vulnerable groups (IDU / OST, sex workers, MSM, former prisoners), it is already doing in relation to HIV and viral hepatitis in different regions of Ukraine.


Drug-Resistant TB:
Early detection and treatment of customers.

TB-HIV:
Working with HIV-positive MSM concerning of timely detection (screening) and TB treatment in TB clinics.
