New Diagnostics:
The ISR is engaged with the WHO efforts to stop the spread of TB and would like to expand its work. The use of improved diagnostic tools is essential to reduce the number of missed TB cases (more than 9,000 per day). The WHO is analyzing the possibility of adding digital imaging and CAD to the TB guidelines. The ISR plans to actively assist with the CAD evaluation.
