Organization Description:
The DZK is direclty involved in Tuberculosisprevention in Germany. We are providing guidance-papers, Guidelines and Statements for prevention, treatment and infection control for Tuberculsosis, LTBI and NTM-Infection. We are a focal Point between patients, public health Service facilities and clinicians, who are involved in diagnosis and Treatment of tuberculosispatients in Germany.

We are developing national Guidelines, Guidancepapers and Statements regarding tubercosis diagnosis, treatment, prevention as well as LTBI-diagnosis and treatment guidancepapers for patients, doctors and health care facilitators involved in Tuberculosis prevention and treatment in Germany. We also give medical adives regarding Tuberculosis for patients and clinicans. We also raising awareness for vulnerable groups.

National Guidelines on Diagnosis, Treatment and Prevention of Tuberculosis (finalized 2017), Information-Service for patients, clinicans, health facility workers on tuberculosis (every day via Phone or mail, National Statements for tuberculosisscreening in pregnant women (2016), use of IGRA-testing (2015), NTM-Infection (2016)

Drug-Resistant TB:
National Guidelines for Diagnosis, Treatment and Prevention of Tuberculosis in Germany including MDR/XDR-Tuberculosis

TB-HIV:
Inventory Study planed for HIV-Tb-test and Treatment adherence in HIV-Clinics in Berlin
