Organization Description:
1. Mission: To promote palliative care and support palliative care providers in Zimbabwe through capacity enhancement, advocacy and membership coordination.

Promote a comprehensive community approach to quality care from diagnosis of life threatening illness to dealing with grief and loss. Relief of pain and suffering is paramount.

2. We are providing comprehensive care to TB patients including MDR in four districts of Zimbabwe.

3. We are planning to reach all our districts working with our partners who are in every district of the country with palliative care for TB patients as well as TB prevention.

HOSPAZ is membership organization for community prevention, care, support and treament focusing on HIV, TB, cancer, other chronic and non communicable diseases. It is involved in creating awareness of TB and TB/HIV coinfection.
HOSPAZ represents Home based care organsations (NGOs, CBOs,FBOs) at National level and advocacy for resources.
