Preface |
This set of presentations on TB infection control has been prepared by the Global Tuberculosis Programme of the World Health Organization. The presentations are based on content from the 2009 WHO Policy on TB Infection Control in Health-Care Facilities, Congregate Settings and households*, and adapted from presentations developed by Paul Jensen of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Karin Weyer of the World Health Organization (WHO), formerly of the South African Medical Research Council. This project was coordinated by Rose Pray and Fabio Scano of the Global Tuberculosis Programme of the World Health Organization, with significant design input by Giovanni Battista Migliori of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases, Fondazione S. Maugeri, Care and Research Institute, Tradate, Italy, and editing by Sarah Royce.
