12 April 2016 - Geneva, Switzerland - The Stop TB Partnership is pleased to announce that the deadline for the 2016 Kochon Prize’s call for nominations has been extended until Friday, 29 April.
We know that every day, all over the world, countless people quietly work for the children, women, men, and communities suffering from TB. We want to make sure that several of them are recognized, acclaimed and awarded for their work. Life is made up out of all the beautiful, everyday miracles all of us achieve and we are very grateful for the work and efforts of everyone committed to making TB a disease of the past.
To honor and recognize these individuals, this year’s theme - for the second year - is "Unsung Heroes Working to End TB: Episode 2."
The Stop TB Partnership encourages all of our partners, friends and colleagues to nominate the "unsung heroes" who have inspired, moved, and filled them with hope on our path towards ending TB. We hope to celebrate the winners and the front runners during a special evening in Liverpool, UK - during the Union World Conference on Lung Health 2016.
