Meeting with Tuberculosis Patients who received Nutritional Support
Brief description of event: *
Being involved in implementing the Adherence Scheme of the Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme (RNTCP, the Social Service Centre which is a Registered NGO under the Meghalaya Societies Registration Act XII of 1983, provides Nutritional Support to the most vulnerable Tuberculosis patients. We provide Tb patients coming from poor families with 2kg of grams, 1 bottle of horlicks and a tray of eggs every month. Through our support many patients are cured of TB. Today as part of the celebrations of World TB Day. We will be meeting these patients who received nutritional support from our organisation. Dr. Gautam (Consultant) and Dr. Jenny from the TB hospital will be present.
