Organization Description: |
Elites initiative is a youth driven Eco-friendly community based organization motivated to run in an environment formerly dilapidated due to lack of capacity building among the youth. It focuses more on empowering the most at risk group who are the youths by providing them with life skills and behavior change communication programme. Elites want to open a new life chapter for many TB patients in the county, after identifying the real problems many of them are facing. Being a focused group and development oriented we have come up with a defaulter tracing programme that will ensure the patients who undergoe TB treatment strictly adhere to the medical advise and take up their drugs. Elites concentrate its efforts in lucrative identification of the TB patients most of whom are living with AIDS, youths who are ready and positive about development and business, this will be done location wide in the county, the group will also undergo a vetting process to give each individual a fair chance to prove his/her readiness to learn. There will be a display of innovative and creative ideas. This group of individuals will then be selected and trained on various entrepreneurial skills including; book keeping and business records management. The group will also be assisted to register their business, develop business plans and be linked to financial institutions to enable them access resources to start and run their business.
