Mission:

To maintain, improve, and implement humane, science-based health and social programs based on the philosophy of harm reduction of drug use in order to improve the quality of life of patients and promote human rights.

NGO "Association of SMT Ukraine" - a national union, established to protect the rights, freedoms, forming and maintaining an active social position of its members.

The main purpose of the Association is to promote and protect the social, economic, and health related rights, along with other legitimate rights and fundamental freedoms of the Association’s members.
The main objectives of the Association:
- Facilitate the development of confidence of each member in their ability to actively participate in events to protect and represent their rights and interests;
- Help to overcome the stigma and discrimination towards people who use drugs and protect their civil rights and freedoms, and recognize people who use drugs as equal members of society in order to obtain medical, legal, and social state and private assistance and create a positive image of harm reduction and substitution therapy;
- Promote the development and implementation of innovative projects aimed at understanding the application of advanced methods of modern medical support for people who use drugs as well as their social and psychological adaptation for addicts and people with HIV / AIDS, hepatitis, tuberculosis and other diseases;
- Facilitate rehabilitation and the formation of state programs and practices and help people who use drugs to attract the attention of governments and other public and private agencies to drug related issues including addiction;
