Organization Description:
1. Vision : Overall sustainable development of this Boarder Areas of Kashmir, Specifically at Kargil. peoples who are living with hardships, fighting with shells and experiencing tag of war, need to ensure rights, social security and peace to live like a human being.
Mission : Relevant & Effective Development whose tracks straight goes to sustainable development for the causes of the most vulnerable category of populations- women, children and youth, convergence of income and employment, better health care, better environment,better living, etc.
2. As I, being a school teacher, as well as Social Activists, We got information of lots of peoples are suffereing from TB, specillay with peoples of hardship, in-secured income and lives sub-standard of life. More painful, is they all are not ready to acknowledge it in public for the fear of hatred, even not ready to take check-up services and medicines to cure. We as an NGO, only limited within the awareness among the mass, for the lack of resources.
3. An Integrated Action Programme needed (a) Community Education for awareness & behavioural changes. (b) Undertake advocacy Programme-both Print & Electronic Medias to eliminate hatred and promote community based rehabilitations.(c) To undertake stakeholders mobilisation to converge necessary services as available at Infrastructures, cares which are extended by Department Or Community are all as a part & parcel of human rights not merely as pity. (d) Ensure livelihood generation through linkages with Local Resources or Skill Development Initiatives of the concerned family representatives to continue necessary food & nutritions.

Just now, We have no such partnership, but interested to build-up partnership on the issues of TB and its consequences. That partnership should be (a) Networking for Knowledge & TB Controll Tools & Materials Sharing in Local Languages,including Audio & Videos (b)Resource Mobilisation for the Extension of Education and Cooperation for the Community as well as the Victims Family for building a hatred free environment & behavioural changes in rehabilitation measures, (c) Advocacy work as mentioned above, (d) Workshops Organisation with Stakeholders for convergence action as stated above, (e) Regular Monitoring & documentation of Development

Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below:

TB Care Delivery:
As an NGO We work on Social Mobilisation to boost Govt. Programmes on DOTs just now for the lack of resources.

Drug-Resistant TB:
We have observed lots of Drug Resistant patients who needs speciall attention, but We have no such manpower to continue.

TB-HIV:
TB-HIV, these consequences are just kept un-touched for the lack of our man-power and resources for justified responsibility performances.
