Organization Description:
1. Ved International Society is an International NGO, headquartered at rural, minorities-dominated district Bijnor in the State of Uttar Pradesh of India. It has been registered with the Government of State of Uttar Pradesh and the Government of India under Act 21 of 1860 and under sections 12A and 80G of Income Tax Act, 1961 since 2006. The donations made to the Ved International Society are exempted from Income Tax and the donor will get a rebate in India as per Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. It has also been recognized by the Planning Commission of India.
Ved International Society is recognized by the Department of Economic and Social Affairs, United Nations and is included in the Civil Society Network of United Nations. The Society is a participant in the Global Compact Campaign of United Nations.
From last 7 years, Ved International Society has been serving the community. It organized various discussion forums, seminars, rallies, medical camps, books and clothes distribution ceremonies, tree plantation drives, vocational training programmes, Save the River GANGA Campaign, Anti-Corruption Drive, Women Empowerment Workshop, Voters’ Awareness Campaign, Save the environment Campaign and others.
The Society has been providing training to the students and helps them to start their own business, thus promotes entrepreneurship. The society has developed a programme to teach underprivileged children with the help of local Teacher-Educators.

2.In India, a sizable proportion of the people with symptoms suggestive of pulmonary tuberculosis approach the private sector for their immediate health care needs. There is need for regularizing the varied anti-tubercular treatment regimens used by general practitioners and other private sector players.

3.We have been organising Contact Programmes of the Government Doctors with the community and have organized medical camps. In near future, we are planning to organize conferences, seminars and discussion forums on the topic.

TB Care Delivery:
We are doing work in establishing wide knowledgebase and are providing training through direct contact programs with Doctors, regular drug supply
A standardized recording and reporting system that allows assessment of treatment results.


Laboratory Strengthening:
A laboratory will be established at our premises as soon as the funds will be available.

Fundamental Research:
We are in regular contact with the government officials regarding the occurence and handling of the cases.
