Vision:
The Vision of Tajmahal Gram Bikash Kendra is to provide opportunities for underprivileged persons, particularly those who are socially deprived due to lack of knowledge, low economic status, empowerment, eradication of Tuberculosis, HIV / AIDS and differentially challenged women and Children from poor and marginalized families of minority community for their all round growth and development through awareness generation, income generating programme and SHG formation, innovative, vocational training and capacity building and skill development.
Mission:
The Mission of Tajmahal Gram Bikash Kendra is to provide meaningful opportunities for social, economic and political development of the marginalize community so that they gain dignity and respect in life, focusing on differentially vulnerable people, particularly women and children.

Our Objectives:
To strengthen the voluntary movement through non-governmental organizations, making them efficient, transparent through capacity building and orientation through pro-people approach.
To organize rural poor women under neighbourhood groups with an average memberships of fifteen members.
To educate women about the social systems and their rights and responsibilities.
To eradicate the Tuberculosis from our society.
To undertake education program to ensure elementary education, supplementary education, educational support and even education for the child labour and children of working women, onwards mainstreaming with the formal education systems.
To make enable them to access over the information / resources / facilities available at Government / Non- Government level.
To create local resources through promotion of micro finance programme to draw attention of nationalized bank and other epic bodies for necessary assistance to Self Employment Opportunity of the rural poor.
To facilitate the groups in serving the community purposes under their own leadership and management.
To impart skill on various self- employment programmes for

Please tell us how your organization is contributing to your country's national TB control plan:
Community Based DOTS : We have been handed over three Blocks Uluberia (Part), Sankrail and Panchla Block under Gabberia Tuberculosis Unit, to cover more than 5lakhs populations. In 1st. Year, We have been able to communicate the Govt. functionaries who are already engazed in the functions of eliminating tuberculosis and taking care of patients.

We have developed bridging relationships with Govt. Infrastrucure and Peoples where We have involved community based clubs, society, school teachers, panchayats in this mission. Women SHGs where existing we have also strategically involved them in knowledging community so that the come forward and encourage patients and their families to take the services of Govt. Health Services.

Training of Field Extension Workers, Coordinators are also been organized jointly with CMOH, DTO, Howrah and other personnels from WHO, Care-WB, GLRA India and CBCI CARD New Delhi.

Contribution

Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below:

TB Care Delivery:
Goal
• To decrease mortality and morbidity due to TB and cut transmission of infection until TB cases to be a major public health programme.

Objective of the Project :
• To Achieve and maintain a cure rate at least 85% among newly detective infections ( NSP) case.
• To provide DOTs as per RNTC Programme.
• To Develop IEC Activities.
• To ensure cure for all TB patients through CB-DOTs Programme.

Role of our organization’s staff

• To ensure timely follow up of the patients and also undertake patients retrieval action in case of treatment interruption.
• To co-ordinate with RNTCP programme.
• Monthly meeting with DTO and others.
• Sputum collection transportation.

Expected Output
• Increase the knowledge of information level
• Decrease the TB patients
• Sure cure for all TB patients
