Organization Description:
ADRA Burundi has been operating in Burundi since 1988, working with people in poverty and distress to create just and positive change through empowering partnerships and responsible action. ADRA Burundi’s strategic vision is to empower marginalized people who are dynamic and productive civil society actors achieving their self-articulated developmental goals. We work with community health workers to identify threats to community health. Since TB has been identified as a key government health priority, ADRA will build the capacity of community health workers to reduce the risk of TB in vulnerable communities and zones by increasing community awareness of and access to health services that specialize in TB testing and care.
