ExplainTB provides multilingual educational videos and written material for tuberculosis patients and their relatives.
All material is available 24 hours a day for free on www.explaintb.org
Educational videos in 16 languages can be accessed by scanning a QR-code from a poster that is available for download.
Additionally, an app for smartphones is available for free providing audio-visual education in 25 languages.

About 50% of TB patients in Western Europe are migrants. Many of them are illiterates or children. They can't be reached by conventional educational material due to the language barrier.
ExplainTB tries to overcome this language barrier by making educational videos available at the point of care in the patient's mother tongue.
