Organization Description:
SUJATA Welfare Society is a non-governmental organization formed in 2002, which was registered in June 2003 under Societies Registration Act at Nasik, Maharashtra, India. Some like minded people came to gather and share a thought that instead of criticizing the system let empower the people to bring about positive change in their own lives and create a better society.

The objective of the organization: To work for the betterment of vulnerable individuals and communities by awareness generation, community empowerment, developing and strengthening local groups and Community Based Organizations (CBO's).

Vision of the organization: SUJATA Welfare Society seeks to empower urban and rural community/groups to identify their immediate needs and concern issues through generating awareness, enable them to avail services and take lead in developing their community/groups.

Our Work for TB: SUJATA Welfare Society started working for TB in the area because we realize the need and emergency to address and fight with this deadly disease. Presently we are implementing awareness, advocacy, sputum collection and transportation project in partnership of Nasik Municipal Corporation RNTCP program. As part of this program various initiatives with communities, schools and health service providers are implemented. we are also promoting importance of community volunteers role in this fight.
