Organization Description:
1. Combat stigma, discrimination and social exclusion, increasing social participation and advocacy for vulnerable groups, based on the promotion and defense of human rights.
2. Due to TB is the main cause of death among persons living with HIV and we, in oru organization are persons with HIV, we are interested in developing projects addressed to decrease the burden of this desease among persons like us.
3. We have a great background on TB community work in Mexico, and this have been inspiring to similar work in the Latin American region.

Recently, our organization was member of the Stop TB Committe, basically into the TB/HIV co-infection working group. People from the National TB Programe provide us technical advice and useful guidence to us!

TB-HIV:
Our organization has a long history working on TB/HIV co-infection in Mexico and Latin American region, basically on community education and social mobilization. I am sure that our organization can support the Global Plan to Stop TB by provinding information about prevention and care about these two diseases in Mexico.
