Vision: «Une communauté où on ne peut manquer ni perdre d’envie de vivre » Les principales missions assignées à l’Association sont entre autres : ? Encadrer, être le porte parole, et l'interlocuteur des personnes vivant avec le VIH/sida regroupées en association ou individuellement dans la région de l’Extrême-Nord. ? Apporter un soutien multiforme aux communautés PVVIH de l’Extrême-Nord, de façon à ce qu’elles puissent jouer un rôle intégral et efficace pour réduire l’expansion et l’impact du VIH/sida dans la régio
L’objectif général de l’Association : L’Association des Frères et Sœurs Unis de l’Extrême-Nord (AFSU-EN) a pour objectif général « d’améliorer les conditions de vie des Personnes Vivant avec le VIH/sida/TB et de leurs familles à travers la prise en charge communautaire en milieu urbain et rural dans la région de l'Extrême-Nord du Cameroun»
Spécifiquement, elle se fixe les Objectifs suivants : • La prise en charge globale des personnes vivant avec VIH/sida/TB ; • La réduction de l’infection à travers les séances de prévention (Communication pour le Changement) ; • La promotion des questions d’ordre Socio-économique et juridique ; • Le développement des actions spécifiques au profit des femmes séropositives, des enfants infectés et affectés par le VIH/Sida/TB et autre groupe vulnérable (OEV, TS, Handicapés.. ; • Le développement du partenariat local, national et international. Les cibles prioritaires de l’association sont : ? Les personnes infectées/affectées membres de l’association ou non membres; ? Les femmes enceintes/Mères séropositives ? Les Orphelins Enfant Vulnérables (OEV) Y compris les Enfants infectés appartenant aux membres ou non et autres populations vulnérables… ? Les Volontaires pour le dépistage du VIH et la TB ? Les organisations regroupant les personnes Infectées/affectée par le VIH/sida
