Organization Description:
The mission of Effemab Foundation for Women is to Provide activities and services aimed at achieving socio-economic empowerment,health development and environmental protection in rural communities. However, our Main focus is community health care services, while Malaria, Tuberculosis and HIV has been our main area of commitment given the grave dangers posed by these diseases in our communities. The organization is currently carrying out and also planning to carry out series of activities that will focus on awareness and sensitization programs on TB and also make referrals to DOT centres where treatment can be provided to the affected people.

Effemab Foundatnion for Women is part of the Network on TB control in Kwara State, Nigeria. The organization is of the Civil Society for the Eradication of Tuberculosis in nigeria (TB Network) and has always been part of the Community CVs/TBLS/DOT Review Meetings. Furthermore, the organization is carrying out advocacy, sensitizations and social mobilization on TB

TB Care Delivery:
Effemab Foundation for Women has been carrying out and will continue to carry out on a monthly basis advocacies to different communities in Nigeria. the organization is enlisting the support of Community chiefs, elders, and community health personnel in the fight against the spread of TB. The third and fourth week of each month in 2014 is dedicated for both advocacy and social mobilization in each of the various communities.
