Who can nominate
A recognized national health body of any WHO Member State, any Stop TB partner or any former recipient of the Prize.
Who can be nominated
A person or persons, an institution or institutions, or organization or organizations, that have made a major contribution to stopping childhood tuberculosis. Nominees should have significant and documented achievements in the formulation and implementation of a system or policy for childhood TB programmes; or fields of childhood TB research, advocacy, education or training for the prevention of childhood tuberculosis.
There is no restriction on the age, sex or nationality of proposed candidates.
Current WHO staff members and members of the Stop TB Partnership Coordinating Board for the last two years are not eligible to receive the prize. Candidates may not nominate themselves.
How to submit a nomination
All nominations should include:
- A completed nomination form: Download the form [.doc]
- A letter of nomination from an eligible national health body, Stop TB Partner or former recipient.
- Supporting documentation (Curriculum Vitae for individuals, annual report for an organization, or other documentation as appropriate). Please do not send more than 2 documents per nominee.
- All documentation should be signed and submitted in English in hard copy (handwritten documents are not accepted) or PDF format.
Completed nominations should be sent no later than 1 September 2012 to:
