ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for SUPPLIERS OF TB DIAGNOSTICS, MEDICAL DEVICES & LABORATORY SUPPLIES

For TB Diagnostics, Medical Devices & other health products: Please check that you match the below criteria to become an eligible supplier for StopTB/GDF procurement:

  1. Do you manufacture/supply a TB diagnostics, medical device or other health products recommended by the WHO Global TB Programme, or the Expert Review Panel for Diagnostics or approved by one of the founding members of the Global Harmonization Task Force Regulatory agency?
  2. Do you manufacture/supply a TB diagnostics, medical device & or other health products listed in the current StopTB/GDF Diagnostics, Medical Devices and Other Health Products Catalog?
  3. Does your TB diagnostic, medical device or other health product fully comply with StopTB/GDF’s Quality Assurance policy?

For Laboratory Supplies: Please check that you match the below criterion to become an eligible supplier for StopTB/GDF procurement:

  1. Do you manufacture/supply laboratory supplies that are in the current StopTB/GDF Diagnostics, Medical Devices and Other Health Products Catalog? Or Equivalent products?
  2. Is your Quality Management System ISO certified by a competent body?

If you answer "yes" to the eligibility criteria above for TB Diagnostics, Medical Devices, or other Health products and/or laboratory supplies, please contact StopTB/GDF at gdf@stoptb.org, to the attention of Diagnostics and QA teams.

StopTB/GDF will then require you to provide a list of information and supporting documentation about the TB Diagnostics, Medical Devices, or other Health products and/or laboratory supplies you offer.

Upon verification of information and supporting documents provided, StopTB/GDF will inform you if your TB Diagnostics, Medical Devices, or other Health products and/or laboratory supplies are eligible for StopTB/GDF procurement.
 

StopTB/GDF PROCUREMENT

Suppliers of TB Diagnostics, Medical Devices, or other Health products eligible for StopTB/GDF procurement will be invited to participate in StopTB/GDF tenders organized jointly and in accordance with the procurement policies of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), the hosting organization of the Stop TB Partnership secretariat.

Suppliers awarded will enter into a long-term agreement (LTA) with UNOPS on behalf of StopTB/GDF and be able to start supplies of TB Diagnostics, Medical Devices, or other Health products to StopTB/GDF country clients.

To participate in UNOPS/StopTB/GDF tenders, suppliers must be registered in the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM).
