UN Special Envoy honoured by Global Health and Diplomacy

27 September 2012 - New York, NY - Today Global Health and Diplomacy, a centre that convenes leaders in health and foreign affairs to discuss challenges and find solutions to global health matters, today honoured its 2012 champions. They are, Dr Jorge Sampaio, former President of Portugal and the UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy to Stop TB (centre, front); His Excellency Yayi Boni, President of Benin, (fourth from right, second row) and Michel Sidibe, Executive Director of UNAIDS. On this occasion the three global health leaders joined Global Health and Diplomacy in ringing the closing bell at NASAQ QMX, the world's largest exchange company.
