Press tour to Mozambique - a global success

From 06 to 11 November a group of top-tier international journalists attended a press tour to Mozambique to visit Stop TB supported programmes in the country. The main objective of the mission was to provide the media with a first-hand account of the many successful efforts made by Stop TB partners in the country such as Health Through Walls (HtW) and the Association of Mozambican Mineworkers (AMIMO) and ADPP Mozambique.

BBC World Service

In the follow-up from the press tour Dr Jacob Creswell, Team Leader, Innovation and Grants (TB REACH) did a radio interview with the BBC World Service where he talked about the importance of using artificial intelligence as part of early TB detection using ultra portable X-ray machines in Mozambique prisons, a pilot programme supported by TB REACH, currently being tested in three prisons in Maputo.
