Stop TB Partnership deadline for nominations for new Vice-Chairperson - 30 APRIL 2021

The Stop TB Partnership Board continues the search to find a new Vice-Chairperson to champion the cause of millions of people affected by TB and uphold the Stop TB Partnership’s vision of a world free of TB by 2030.

16 April 2021, Geneva, Switzerland - The Board of the Stop TB Partnership has extended the call for nominations for a new Vice-Chairperson of the Board until 30 April 2021. The tenure of the current Vice-Chair, Dr. Joanne Carter, Executive Director of RESULTS and RESULTS Educational Fund, ends in December 2021, following her two terms of service.
 
The Stop TB Partnership seeks a talented global leader who will impact the fight against tuberculosis (TB) and provide direction to the Stop TB Partnership’s international activities by providing support to the implementation of policies and budgets by the Secretariat, based in Geneva, Switzerland.
 
As co-leader, the Vice-Chair is responsible for guiding the deliberations of a Board comprising a mix of committed stakeholders and partners. Nominees should be accomplished professionals with a deep understanding of the governance complexities of multi-stakeholder organizations.
 
The call for nominations for Vice-Chair of the Board is extended until Friday, 30 April 2021. Individuals can nominate themselves or be nominated by a Board Member.
 
Nominations will be reviewed by an Independent Taskforce that includes Board and Executive Committee members, in accordance with the Stop TB Partnership Governance Manual, and recommended candidates will be presented to the Board for the final selection.
