Stop TB Partnership seeks new Vice-Chairperson

The Stop TB Partnership Board is launching the search to find a new Vice-Chairperson to champion the cause of millions of people affected by TB and uphold the Stop TB Partnership’s vision of a world free of TB by 2030.

03 March 2021, Geneva, Switzerland - The Board of the Stop TB Partnership has opened the nomination process for a new Vice-Chairperson of the Board. The tenure of the current Vice-Chair, Dr. Joanne Carter, Executive Director of RESULTS and RESULTS Educational Fund, ends in December 2021, following her two terms of service.
 
The Stop TB Partnership seeks a talented global leader who will impact the fight against tuberculosis (TB) and provide direction to the Stop TB Partnership’s international activities by monitoring the implementation of policies and budgets of the Secretariat, based in Geneva. As co-leader, the Vice-Chair is responsible for guiding the deliberations of a Board comprising a diverse mix of committed stakeholders and partners. Nominees should be accomplished professionals with a deep understanding of the governance complexities of multi-stakeholder organizations.
 
The call for nominations for Vice-Chair of the Board is open until Friday, 09 April 2021, 17:00 Geneva time. Individuals can nominate themselves or be nominated by a Board Member.
 
Nominations will be reviewed by an Independent Taskforce that includes Board and Executive Committee members, in accordance with the Stop TB Governance Manual. Two recommended candidates will be presented to the Board for the final selection. For more information, please visit this link.
